"Where we've never, ever been." — Doctor Who, and time


Neil Gaiman has been working on his episode of this year's Doctor Who for months. It's a safe bet the other writers have been doing the same.

That's just the writing.

Then there's location finding, set creation, costume making, prop making, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc..

Filming. For 5 minutes. Setting up for 50. Take 2...

Housemate No. 1 is currently editing a 10 minute documentary, which is consuming a fair portion of her hours/days/life. I lasted about an hour, so I can only imagine the editing of 13 x 45 minutes.

Months of work by hundreds of individuals, condensed into 1 minute:

The next series looks SO good, but also rather scary...quite worried about my nine year old brother watching it, but he'd probably just laugh at me if I told him that!

So, so good! With a four-month gap in the middle, to which I am not looking forward. Think it's good to be spooked though. Trying to get Sister No. 2 to watch it. She's 13.
